If we ever introduce non-essential cookies or analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your prior consent where the law requires it, with an option to refuse that is as easy as accepting. Browser signals such as Global Privacy Control will be honoured.
5. Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf under contractual data-protection terms:
- Render Services, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and technical logs.
- Microsoft Corporation (Outlook) — email used to receive and answer your messages.
- Accountants and tax advisers — where needed for invoicing and statutory records.
We disclose data to authorities only where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States. Where personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on the provider’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where available, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
- Hosting logs: kept by the hosting provider for a limited period set by the provider, and used only for operation and security.
- Email enquiries: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless they lead to an order.
- Release-list requests: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Orders, invoices and licence records: for the period required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 7 years).
8. Your rights (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to turbomachinery.consulting@outlook.com; we reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection supervisory authority.
9. US state privacy rights
Residents of California, Texas and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may request to know, access, correct or delete their personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising or profiling. We do none of these things. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may appeal a decision on your request by replying to our response; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state Attorney General. In the last 12 months we have not sold or shared personal information as defined by the CCPA.
10. Children
The site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Security
